Various filters and flat optics are used in photography, machine vision, automotive, microscopy and mobile devices. These contribute to the optical performance of the overall system, and must have a sufficiently well transmitted wavefront. Due to the simple referencing option of the inspection system through a blank measurement, flat optics can be measured both easily and precisely.
SHSInspect systems allows for a flexible adjustment of the inspection wavelength thus producing measurements at different wavelengths without additional effort. In addition to the Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor, vision control cameras integrated in the device deliver high-resolution images of the specimen, e.g. for the visual inspection of scratches or inclusions.
Our solution for testing plano optics and optical filters
Systems and modules of the SHSInspect family measure the transmitted wavefront, PSF and MTF. Moreover, they provide information on chromatic aberrations and polarization effects, and detect visual defects.
