The SHSInspect 1Xpass module measures the refractive power and the transmitted wavefront of individual lenses and objectives in a single pass configuration. It can be flexibly integrated into production lines and enables cycle times of less than a second from one lens to the next.
The module uses a superior Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor to measure the focal length and wave aberrations with unrivalled accuracy and a high-resolution imaging camera to determine the lens position and diameter. In less than 250 milliseconds, optimized algorithms for image processing and wavefront reconstruction deliver reliable results for pass/fail classification. Owing to the single-image-based measurement method, the SHSInspect 1Xpass module is insensitive to vibrations.
