The SHSInspect 1Xpass module measures the imaging properties and refractive data of individual lenses and objectives in a single pass. It can be flexibly integrated into production lines and enables cycle times of less than a second from one lens to the next.
The module uses a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor to measure the refractive data and a high-resolution imaging camera to determine the lens position and diameter. In less than 250 milliseconds, optimized algorithms for image processing and wavefront reconstruction deliver reliable results for pass/fail classification. Owing to the individual image-based measurement method, the SHSInspect 1Xpass module is insensitive to vibrations.
